In a fading village cinema in Cyprus, siblings Aviana and Aenea spend their Sundays with their grandfather Petros, the Rialto’s projectionist, still running the matinee as his memory fades. When they find a hidden reel of a long-lost local hero, Professor Proton, and screen it in secret, he steps out of the film and into their world, not as he was, but as everything left behind. Petros must face the hero he once helped create, in a story about childhood, memory, and the pull of the pictures we grew up on.
