d e c  Anglesey Road has been selected for screening ahead of the closing film, 'The Colony' at the London United Film Festival on the 6th Dec at the Prince Charles Cinema. Chris will take part in a Q&A session at the screening.

 

n o v Chris is writing and planning symphonic scores for Jason Young's documentary, Menelik I and Astrit Hyka's black comedy, 'Son of a Dog' respectively. Not In Our Name - 10min version will be part of Jenny Holzer's Artists Room Exhibition at the Lightbox Woking. The exhbition will be opened by Mr. Anthony d'Offay and Sir Nicholas Serota, Director of Tate on 26th Nov. A special screening of the 60min version with Q&A will be organised in the new year. Watch this space. Anglesey Road will be screened at the Filmstock Film Festival on the 8th Nov in Luton.

 

o c t Castle Valley Films will host the official screening of Anglesey Road at the BAFTA headquarters on 2nd October.

 

s e p t  Anglesey Road has been selected for the inaugural Norwich Film Festival.

 

a u g Zomball Films will host the premiere screening of Stag Night of the Dead primarily for cast and crew at London's Odeon, Covent Garden on the 21st August.

 

j u l Phil Maxwell & Hazuan Hashim have another FREE public screening of Not In Our Name on 30th July at the Whitechapel Gallery London, part of Goshka Macuga's exhibition. The screening will be followed by a round table Q&A. Anglesey Road public is now complete and on the international film festival circuit

 

j u n Chris is busy working on the score for the HD feature, Stag Night of the Dead directed by Neil Jones.

a p r Chris has written music for a new London Eye film which shows the birth of the Eye from conception to installment and which is part of the new £5 million 4D film experience development at the Southbank site. The Eye is the UK's top (paid for) visitor experience and an estimated 20,000 tourists will experience the films when it opens in September.

 

f e b   The Simon James/Lucy Lu documentary, Shanghai Bound, selected for the London International Documentary Festival. The film is about the inspirational way in which an elderly Chinese businesswoman steers her company through the huge changes sweeping China at this time. The festival runs from the 28th March - 4th April. Scoring the 35mm short, Anglesey Road directed by Russell Owen and produced by Helen L. Alexander for Castle Valley Films. Chris is writing music for Madame Tussauds to accompany their promotional videos for their forthcoming launches, produced by Bigplus Productions.
