n o v • Welcome to the new look christopherbarnett.com website. • The Phil Maxwell/Hazuan Hashim documentary Not In Our Name was premiered on November 19th at the Genesis Cinema, 93-95 Mile End Rd, Stepney, London. It is a film about artists and their expression of anti-war feeling through their particular art form. Contributors include former MP Tony Benn; Tarek Salhany; composers, Chris Barnett and Deirdre Gribbin, dancers, Mavin Khoo and Seeta Patel; artist/writer, Rachel Lichtenstein; artists, Leon Kuhn and Alice Sielle; artists/sculptors, Bob & Roberta Smith; and filmmakers, Rainbow Collective; (Hannan Majid/Richard York) and Alessandro Tinonga. The film is screening at the Genesis Cinema for 7 days from Friday 21st November.
